Osijek Airport participated at 8th Annual Routes Europe
newsarticle-76832-standard-428x284Routes Europe is the annual gathering of air service decision makers for Europe. The Routes business is focused entirely on aviation route development and the company's portfolio includes events, media and online businesses. Nearly 1100 delegates gathered in Budapest on the eighth Conference of the "Routes Europe", the largest conference in the aviation industry ever held in Europe. There was nearly 4,000 meetings between airlines, airport representatives and representatives of the tourism community. The conference was attended by delegates from almost 70 European countries. Delegates from Osijek Airport were Goran Černjava Operating Officer and General Manager of Osijek Airport Domagoj Marinić. Representatives from Osijek Airport had official meetings with Sky Regional Airlines, Transavia, Austrian Airlines, UPS, Lufthansa, Wizz Air, Carpato air, the Volotea and informal meetings with representatives of many other companies such as are Germanwings and Easy jet. At the conference was arranged new routes to be established next, 2014th year.

OSIJEK AIRPORT PARTICIPATED AT THE 6th INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON ENTREPRENEURSHIP

Business Incubator BIOS and the Center for Entrepreneurship in Osijek organized the Sixth International Conference on Entrepreneurship, "Entrepreneurship + Innovation = Competitiveness" (18th to 19th of October 2012), which was attended by 21 speaker and more than 150 participants.

Osijek Airport representatives met with examples of good practice in the use of EU funds, the benefits and models of cooperation of local government units with universities and businesses and how to use the connectivity as a way to competitiveness.

WALES FOOTBAL TEAM LANDED AT OSIJEK AIRPORT

Yesterday afternoon at 18.15 at Osijek Airport Jet2.com aircraft (B737-300) landed Wales’s football team and leaders of their football association and the media.
At the airport they were welcomed by hosts, the representatives of the CFF and media representatives.  Wales’s team will be placed in Vukovar and after tomorrow’s game they will have return flight to Cardiff.

Early this morning at around 01:40 hours, after yesterday's victory against a football team of Macedonia, at Osijek Airport, with Croatia Airlines landed Croatian national football team and the leaders of the Croatian Football Federation.

At the airport they were welcomed by our host  in Osijek, media representatives and supporters, congratulated them on the victory and wished them success against Wales on Tuesday.

Assembly of Osijek Airport held on 1 October 2012 in the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure in Zagreb, Prisavlje 14.

Meeting agenda included two points: first decisions to adopt the Business Plan for 2012 and 2013 and second approval of the decision of Management to file the request to the Croatian Bank for Reconstruction and Development for approval of permanent working capital for the empowerment of business.
